You may access portions of the App or Site without providing personally identifiable information (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).
PII may include, but may not be limited to, your first and last names, your physical address, your email address, your credit card information as described in section 2.2(b) below, and photographs. You may choose to provide us with PII, in which case you are agreeing to the processing and storage of your information in the United States and countries outside the United States. Those countries may have data laws that are different than the laws of the country in which you reside or provide the PII.
Additionally, if you choose to pose a question to our experts you will provide us with your credit card information, your email address, your physical address, and non-identifiable pseudonyms (fake names to do not identify any) of your children. You may choose to provide us with additional PII, like your photograph. We do not store your credit card information. It is transmitted to our payment provider as specified in section 2.2(b) below. Similarly, if you submit comments on posts on our Site or App or if you communicate with us by email or customer-service request, any information provided in such communication may be collected by us.
(2) Download Data Collected. When you download our App we automatically collect the number of downloads of our App, the number of updates, and the App ratings.
(3) Traffic Data Collected. We may automatically track and collect the following categories of information when you visit our Site or App: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the Site; and (4) types of web browsers used to access the Site (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site.
WE DO NOT PROCESS NOR DO WE SUPPORT ANONYMOUS BROWSING. YOUR USE OF OUR SITE OR APP IS NOT ANONYMOUS.
(5) User Usage Data Collection. We may automatically track and collect the number of logins and logouts from our Site or App; average time spent on our App or Site; the number and the specific requests you have; and the webpages of our Site that you bookmark.
(6) GeoLocation. When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.
We use the information we collect to create a better user experience, and if you have chosen, to enable you to create an account with us. Once you have chosen to create that account, we use the information we have collected to provide better, more personalized service to you. Examples of improved services, include, but are not limited to, personalizing the delivery of content to you; and finding experts who better match the question and user profile information.
You may choose not to provide us with any PII. In that event, then you will not be able to fully access our Site or App.
All collected information is stored in the United States. All PII is login and password protected. All passwords are encrypted via MD5.
You can access, update, and correct your PII by logging into your account. At any time if you have any questions, comments or concerns about your PII, contact us at email@example.com.
Third-party sites are beyond our control. Consequently, we are not responsible to privacy policies and practices of other sites. The inclusion of a link to a third-party site is not an endorsement of such site or a warranty as to the privacy policies or procedures of such site.
Under California law, California Residents who have an established business relationship with LyfeLine or one of its subsidiaries may choose to opt out of LyfeLine’s disclosure of PII about them to third parties for direct marketing purposes. As detailed above, our policy is not to disclose personal information collected online to a third party for direct marketing purposes.
