1. SCOPE OF PRIVACY POLICY

LyfeLine Corporation (“us,” “we,” “our,” or “LyfeLine”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, experts, visitors, and other users of its mobile application (the “App”) and its website (the “Site”) www.lyfeline.co. We created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Site and App and to demonstrate our commitment to fair-information practices and the protection of privacy. By visiting our Site or downloading our App, you accept this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the Site and the App, and not to any other websites or mobile applications that you may be able to access from the Site or App, each of which may have data collection, storage, and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy. Similarly, this Privacy Policy does not apply to any practice that is conducted outside of the Site or App.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1. INFORMATION COLLECTED

(a) PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION COLLECTED.

You may access portions of the App or Site without providing personally identifiable information (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).

PII may include, but may not be limited to, your first and last names, your physical address, your email address, your credit card information as described in section 2.2(b) below, and photographs. You may choose to provide us with PII, in which case you are agreeing to the processing and storage of your information in the United States and countries outside the United States. Those countries may have data laws that are different than the laws of the country in which you reside or provide the PII.

(b) DIRECT COLLECTION OF DATA:

In order to provide you with additional access to our Site or Mobile App as described in our Terms of Use, you may create an account with LyfeLine. If you decide to do so, you will provide us with the following information—some of which may be PII—such as: your name, your age, your email address, and the number of your child(ren). You may choose to provide us with other PII.

Additionally, if you choose to pose a question to our experts you will provide us with your credit card information, your email address, your physical address, and non-identifiable pseudonyms (fake names to do not identify any) of your children. You may choose to provide us with additional PII, like your photograph. We do not store your credit card information. It is transmitted to our payment provider as specified in section 2.2(b) below. Similarly, if you submit comments on posts on our Site or App or if you communicate with us by email or customer-service request, any information provided in such communication may be collected by us.

(c) AUTOMATIC COLLECTION:

(1) Third-Party Account Login: You may choose to have additional access to our Site or App by logging in via a third-party account (“Third-Party-Account Login”) such as Facebook, Inc. If you choose to login via a Third-Party-Account Login, that Third-Party-Account Login provider’s terms of use and privacy policy will apply to the use of your that login. Depending on the Third-Party-Account Login provider, we may receive basic information about you such as, but not limited to, your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL.

(2) Download Data Collected. When you download our App we automatically collect the number of downloads of our App, the number of updates, and the App ratings.

(3) Traffic Data Collected. We may automatically track and collect the following categories of information when you visit our Site or App: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the Site; and (4) types of web browsers used to access the Site (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site.

(4) Online Tracking. To improve your user experience we may use “cookies” and/or “clear gifs.” Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your computer or device’s hard drive. We use cookies to let us know that you have previously visited the App or Site. Additionally, clear gifs sometimes have other names like Web Beacons or Web Bugs. They are small graphics with unique identifiers embedded on webpages. They are used to track the online movements of a website user thorough out that site.

WE DO NOT PROCESS NOR DO WE SUPPORT ANONYMOUS BROWSING. YOUR USE OF OUR SITE OR APP IS NOT ANONYMOUS.

(5) User Usage Data Collection. We may automatically track and collect the number of logins and logouts from our Site or App; average time spent on our App or Site; the number and the specific requests you have; and the webpages of our Site that you bookmark.

(6) GeoLocation. When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.

2.2. USES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

(a) USE OF INFORMATION.

We use the information we collect to create a better user experience, and if you have chosen, to enable you to create an account with us. Once you have chosen to create that account, we use the information we have collected to provide better, more personalized service to you. Examples of improved services, include, but are not limited to, personalizing the delivery of content to you; and finding experts who better match the question and user profile information.

(b) SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy, we do not share your PII. We do not sell your PII.

If you choose to login via a Third-Party-Account Login, that provider’s terms of use and privacy policy apply to your use of the login. As such, we and the third party may submit and receive additional information as you have selected with the third party and such information may be subject to the third party’s privacy policy.

Our Site and App utilize the leading web hosting service providers of Amazon and Google. Any information submitted is stored on Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) and AWS’s privacy policy applies. Further, any customer-service inquiries are first submitted through AWS and in turn sent to LyfeLine via its email provider, currently Google. In addition to being subject to AWS’s privacy policy, those email inquiries are subject to our email provider’s privacy policy.

If you choose to submit credit card information, that information is conveyed to our payment providers. We do not store your credit card information. At the current time, our provider is Stripe. Stripe’s privacy policy and terms of use apply to its collection, use, and storage of your credit card information. Stripe’s terms of use is located here: https://stripe.com/us/terms. (c) USER CHOICE REGARDING COLLECTION, USE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

You may choose not to provide us with any PII. In that event, then you will not be able to fully access our Site or App.

(d) MERGER, SALE, OR BANKRUPTCY.

Please note that because a customer information database is customarily considered a business asset, LyfeLine reserves the right to transfer the database in a merger or sale of some or all of its company or in an action for bankruptcy. Your information will continue to be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy by the acquiring or merged company unless you are notified and provided an opportunity to change your preferences.

3. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will keep your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect our rights or property; or (c) enforce our Terms of Use.

All collected information is stored in the United States. All PII is login and password protected. All passwords are encrypted via MD5.

3.1. USER ABILITY TO ACCESS, UPDATE, AND CORRECT PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.

You can access, update, and correct your PII by logging into your account. At any time if you have any questions, comments or concerns about your PII, contact us at milestones@lyfeline.co.

4. UPDATES AND CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY.

We may amend our Privacy Policy at any time by positing a revised version on our Site and App. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. In addition, if the revised version includes a material change, we will provide you with 30-days notice via email.

5. THIRD-PARTY SITES.

Third-party sites are beyond our control. Consequently, we are not responsible to privacy policies and practices of other sites. The inclusion of a link to a third-party site is not an endorsement of such site or a warranty as to the privacy policies or procedures of such site.

6. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS.

Under California law, California Residents who have an established business relationship with LyfeLine or one of its subsidiaries may choose to opt out of LyfeLine’s disclosure of PII about them to third parties for direct marketing purposes. As detailed above, our policy is not to disclose personal information collected online to a third party for direct marketing purposes.
